Inno64: JDM Icons and Widebody Culture in 1:64 Scale
Share
If you collect JDM icons and widebody culture specifically, Inno64 is a brand worth knowing by name. It's one of the few 1:64 scale diecast brands that goes deep on both sides of that world — faithful reproductions of genuinely rare Japanese classics, and officially styled widebody kits from builders like Pandem, RWB, and Liberty Walk. Here's what's actually in the range.
Widebody Kits: Pandem, RWB, and Liberty Walk
Inno64's widebody lineup reads like a tour of modern JDM tuning culture:
- The Pandem E30 M3 (Silver/Blue) — a BMW classic reworked with Pandem's signature flared bodywork
- The Pandem GT-R BCNR33 (Black) — the R33 Skyline in full widebody form
- The Toyota Supra A90 Darwin Pro (Matt Green) — a modern Supra with Darwin Pro's aggressive aero kit
- The Darwin Pro AMG GT — a widebody take on Mercedes-AMG's GT
- The Mazda AZ-1 Liberty Walk LB40 Pilot — a genuinely unusual choice, since the AZ-1 rarely gets this kind of attention from any diecast brand
Two RWB builds — the Porsche RWB 930 Apple Livery and the RWB 997 Porsche — are currently running on pre-order, alongside the Liberty Walk 720S.
Genuinely Rare JDM Classics
What sets Inno64 apart from most JDM-focused brands is a willingness to reproduce cars that rarely get the diecast treatment at all:
- The Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R (KPGC110) "Kenmeri" — one of the most historically significant Skylines ever built, and a car most brands skip entirely in favour of the more familiar R32–R35 generations
- The Nissan Fairlady Z (S30), Coca-Cola Livery — a striking period-correct racing scheme on the original Z-car
- The Honda S2000 J'S Racing Maou — a dedicated tuner-shop livery on one of Honda's most collectible roadsters
- The Top Secret Silvia (S15) Gold, D1 Grand Prix Champion 2004 — a tribute to an actual championship-winning drift car
Why Inno64 Matters for a JDM Collection
Most 1:64 brands that touch JDM culture stick to the same handful of recognizable cars — the R34, the FD RX-7, maybe a Supra. Inno64 goes further into specific builder collaborations and genuinely obscure classics, which makes it a brand worth checking regularly rather than browsing once. Several pieces here — the Kenmeri, the Coca-Cola Fairlady Z, the AZ-1 — simply aren't available from the other brands we carry.
