Mini GT: From JDM Widebody Culture to Modern Hypercar Racing

Mini GT sits in an interesting spot in our catalogue: half JDM widebody culture, half modern hypercar racing, with almost nothing generic in between. If you haven't browsed the range yet, here's what's actually in it.

The Amoculture Line: JDM Widebody Culture

A big chunk of the range is dedicated to "Amoculture" liveries — aggressive widebody builds on JDM icons. The lineup includes the Toyota Supra LBWK Amoculture, Nissan Skyline R32 Amoculture, and Nissan Silvia Amoculture — three of the most recognizable JDM silhouettes in tuner culture, all reproduced with the same widebody treatment that's made LBWK-style builds so influential over the last decade.

Modern Racing and Hypercars

On the other end, Mini GT covers current motorsport and hypercar territory: the Ford Mustang GT3 #65, the BMW M Hybrid V8 #25 IMSA Daytona 24H, and the Bugatti Bolide — genuinely current-generation race and hypercar liveries, not decade-old reissues.

A Quirk Worth Knowing: Blister vs. Box

You'll notice several Mini GT models are listed twice — once as "Blister" and once as "Box Version." Same car, same livery, different packaging. Blister packs are the standard clamshell packaging; box versions come in a printed display box, generally preferred by collectors who display pieces mint-in-box or plan to resell down the line. Worth choosing based on how you plan to keep the piece, since the model itself is identical either way.
