Time Micro: JDM Tuner Culture and Limited Editions in 1:64
Share
Time Micro is a 1:64 brand that lives and breathes tuner culture. Its catalogue is full of RWB Porsches, Liberty Walk widebodies and Spoon-tuned Japanese sports cars, along with a few surprises such as period-correct tobacco-sponsored pickups. Here is what the brand is about and how it fits with the other JDM names on our shelves.
A Tuner-Focused Brand From China
Time Micro is a Chinese manufacturer, and retailers group it with other specialist Asian makers known for limited production runs and detailed 1:64 models. Its focus is clear: Japanese performance cars and the tuning houses that modify them, with a sprinkling of European classics and a few modern supercars. Distributors list it alongside sister lines such as ATS and MoreArt, both of which we also stock.
The Range at a Glance
- Widebody builds: RWB Porsche 964 and Volkswagen Beetle, plus Liberty Walk models
- Tuner icons: a Spoon Sports Toyota Supra A80, a VeilSide Mazda RX-7 and Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 variants
- Period liveries: Volkswagen T1 pickups in Martini and Marlboro colours
- Race and show cars: an Acura NSX GT3 with accessories, and limited exhibition editions
- Collaborations: partnership releases such as a Subaru Impreza made with PSC Design
Extras and Limited Editions
Several Time Micro releases come with a small collector figure or accessories, which gives them a little diorama appeal on a shelf. Limited editions are part of the identity too. One example in our range is the Lamborghini Countach V Exhibition Edition, limited to 999 pieces.
